Set in the small and beautiful Nantlle village, with views over the Nantlle Ridge and Snowdon, Wenallt Cottage is the perfectly peaceful spot for couples, families, and gatherings of friends to use as a base for exploring North Wales.

Dogs are welcome too, with advance notice and a small supplementary charge.

Whether you’re washing up, waking up in the master bedroom, or peeking out the skylights in the loft room, you won’t be dissapointed with the breathtaking views of the Nantlle Ridge mountains and the waters of Llyn Nantlle Uchaf.

Taking a walk to the end of the garden, there’s the perfect spot to take a seat (and a coffee), inhale the views, and from there you can also see the summit of Mount Snowdon too!

Family days out, mountains to climb, walks to explore, paths to cycle, so much to do!

For family fun, a 10 minute drive takes you to Dinas Dinlle beach, or our favourite, Gypsy Wood Park
Starting points for climbs up the Nantlle Ridge and Snowdon Rhyd Ddu mountain paths are only a 10 minute drive away
The Snowdonia Slate Trail is only a short walk from the front door, where you can head towards Rhyd Ddu or Waunfawr
Grab your bike from the storage at the back of the house, and head off into the mountains, or join the Lon Eifion Cycleway just down the road in Penygroes
Within a 30 minute drive, you can visit Zipworld, Greenwood Family Park, Caernarfon Castle, Porthmadog, Black Rock Sands, Portmeirion and more!
